By looking at previous entries and winners i got to understand what E4 are looking for, you have got to make it suit the right audience and make it appeal to them so they carry on watching. E4's target audience is teenagers to young adults as by my research i could see that all the programmes shown on E4 are mainly watched by that age group. This means i would have to create something quite young and funny. The ones that i liked and that i remember are the not so simple ones like the animated ones, as i am not that good at animation i thought of doing a stop motion and trying to make it a little more difficult and interesting to watch or maybe a film.
My first idea was to create an E4 pinata and hang it up outside on a tree, the background looking like a party, the theme would be very purple as that would then relate to e4, what comes out of the pinata when smashed would be loads of purple sweets and the person that hit it would be wearing a e4 purple blind fold. This would be shown completely backwards, so all the sweets would rise from the floor and the pinata would come together as the e4 logo and would just end up swinging this could either be done by animation drawings or film.
My second idea was to do a stopmotion of all the E4 programmes and use funny photos from each programme or someone saying a word from each programme and put them together to make up a sentence or a photo montage.
My third idea was to paint loads of different people purple with the e4 logo on there face and make a stopmotion of that so it flicks through everyones face.
